Description
The J-11 fighter is a domestic version of the Su-27 that the People's Republic of China authorized from Russia. It is a third-generation fighter. The Shenyang Aircraft Company established a production line, and Russia supplied the main parts and systems to form production and assembly capabilities. Later, China carried out independent research and development on its basis, and derived newer models such as J-11B and J-11BS.

The J-11, an upgraded Chinese version of the Russian SU-27, is offered by FMS as a highly accurate, scale model that is engineered with great attention to detail. The landing gear and working gear doors are very scale and are very stout, with shock absorption very well matched to the weight of the model.
I love the way it looks and it flies like a dream compared to so many other military EDF jet models. I love how easy it is to bring it in for a scale, high alpha landing with the air brake deployed. That always gets a lot of compliments from everyone watching! In the air, it’s very maneuverable and has a wide speed range.
It’s a must have addition to the hangar for any experienced RC pilot!
I'm writing my review because this I an awsome twin 70mm jet and it flys amazing. Is predictable and stable flying edf.
Looking at Chris's review, other than the tail piece, if was missing, is the only issue I see. If you don't check all screws when assembling, it is on you, these things should be checked as I have said a million times, people are human, things get missed sometimes, and ultimately you should be doing pre flight checks of all these things anyway. So why not start when assembling before you fly. Always add a little foam tac to c clips on wheels. As to the quality of the foam and the quality of esthetics, Freewing is sub par compared to FMS. FMS has the best edf power systems/fans on the market. I have to give my opinion every time when I see someone say that Freewing is better, because it isn't. I've been flying FMS planes for 16 years. I have flown all other foam manufacturers planes and none are better.
I will only agree with Chris on one point. If the tail piece was missing, FMS should replace it. But that point alone is not good reason to not get any more FMS planes. Especially since this was supposed to be his first.
There is no one that can honestly say that they have had no issues with Freewing products because in the past I have had many issues with Freewing and with Motion, and others.
