Description
The Su-27 fighter is a single-seat twin-engine all-weather heavy fighter developed by the Soviet Sukhoi Design Bureau. It has ultra-low-altitude flight capabilities, excellent maneuverability and stealth performance, and can still independently complete combat missions, including deep execution of combat missions, when it lacks ground control information.
The R&D team of FMS started from the two aspects of "dynamic" and "static", taking 14 months to restore this classic and unique SU-27 fighter.
“Dynamic” means power and mobility. Dual 70mm inrunner 12 bladed EDFs and high-quality 80A ESCs provide ample thrust for high speed, excellent vertical performance and resonating turbine engine sound. In addition, the pre-installed metal gear servos and ball link style control horns make for more responsive and precise operation.
“Static” means degree of reduction. FMS captures the essence of this fighter. Functional restoration, such as large size airbrake, LED navigation lights & landing lights, full-motion tail, landing gear door with sequencing effect, retractable landing gear system that can resist hard landings, static restoration such as cockpit details, panel lines, detachable ordnance, pilot, and highly recognizable trim scheme, all these details combine to make the FMS Su-27 stand out on the tarmac and in flight.

i had the SU-30 but for some unknown reason it crashed. I decided to buy the SU-27 and love it. It’s a beautiful jet. The lines and paint scheme are gorgeous. I believe it has a little more power than the SU-30 and it accelerates quickly. A very nice flying jet and the looks are superb. I bought it new and it went together fairly easily. The landing gear is great, love the soft tires and once it touches down it doesn’t bounce due to the soft tires. The nose gear is especially nice in that it has a lot of cushion. I really like the plane and would recommend it to anyone who loves EDF’s.
Added some extra camo and the red band over fuse going onto the leading wing edges and the deep blue band as appeared on the SU30 for better visibility, so I guess I now have a SU-28 1/2. Nice that there is no unpainted white. Used larger nose wheel and hitec elevator servos. Also built out the cockpit. Used AS3X Plus 8 channel with nose wheel gyro, flies incredible with dual batteries and flaperons and tailerons. Balanced at 170mm.
SU-27 is an excellent flier. I take off on grass and did a few mods. 1) Changed the nose wheel to a 2 1/4" 2) Reinforced the front battery tray and nose wheel stop arm with carbon fiber (learned that with my first SU-30) 3) Removed the air brake and added a 2nd battery bay and separated each fan. Now flies on 2 HiV SMC 4400's for 6 minutes. Added RC Geek afterburners and redid the cockpit instruments, ejection seats and 2nd pilot. Balanced 160-170mm, programmed flaperons and tailerons. Added more camo and painted similar to the original Eflight SU-30 with some red and blue. Looks awesome in the air. Outstanding, only needs thrust vectoring like my Mig 29.

I was doing a maiden on my SU27 when suddenly when I am coming in to land and I flip the gear switch to put my gear down all systems fail and my planes goes down into the forest where I couldn’t retrieve it. Luckily I had a video of this happening. To me it seems like the ESC had failed and been overworked and was defective. I sent FMS the video and called them and their amazing customer service team reviewed my issue and are sending me a whole new plane! I am very grateful for this. This plane is a beauty as well.
