My daughter pick this up for me for Christmas, I went out to Maiden was not feeling good so fellow club member took it up for me flew great just two clicks of left Ailerons and handle great I installed the Reflex V3
This plane looks so cool. Not even Horizon Hobby made a cessna this awesome. I recommend it. Looks great Fms!!!!!!! One bad thin tho is the landing gear sound like garbage dumpsters being rolled down a hill. So that's the only thing I would change about the plane. Other than that it's awesome Flys great,plenty of power.
If you are looking for a good starter with scale detail but gentle characteristics, this is it. This beautifully finished bird has all the right stuff. It will get you started in a great looking scale aircraft with good quality finished looks . It can be configured to allow electronic flight assist from beginner to expert. As you abilities grow , the plane grows with you.
It is s great size for not so calm days yet plenty of lift for those summer windless days. The 3 point undercarriage allows for good ground handling when taking off or landing with a reactive nose wheel and sturdy landing gear. Once in the air the 182 has a gentle well mannered control to make your beginner flights less merve wracking and more fun. The onboard flight mode controller is a great system to help keep your early flights simple and stable. Yet as your experience grows , the 182 grows with you enabling simple stability to assist in windy conditions and a smoother flight. Once you reach that level of experience where you want to do loops and rolls the experienced mode allows you to have complete control for a little more daring.
Assembly is straight forward and disassembly for transport means packing it in your car is not an issue.
Plenty of power when needed yet flying with good slow chacteristics allows for longer duration flight times. This 182 looks good on the ground and performs like a champ in the air. The fun and the learning all begins with the FMS Cessna 182. Of course the size enables a more stable flight and easier to keep an eye on when airborne. A good looking and flying plane that grows with you.
I really think for the price point it is a quality model. I have not put it together yet. I took the time to fix the light issues so that the nav light don’t flash, the strobe lights now flash had to move the wire for the landing light to the nav light to keep it from flashing. Reversed the connections at the wing on both sides. Installed a lead to the rear white light. Installed freewing light control. Now all the lights work like they should. FMS could fix this issue it’s just as easy to do it right than the way they do it. They keep turning them out the same way.
Nice plane customer service sucks receive plane where holes didn’t line up to put plane together. Contacted customer service for this reply to be to Jerry rig my plane. Unacceptable then wanted to give me a hard time about replacing plane four days later still no shipping label for the return of damage plane and still no tracking number for the new plane to be shipped out will never buy another FMS playing again
