This is a nice bird from box to sky, easy assembly, easy programming, the only thing I would add, but it would add weight is some small carbon tube's to the outboard missiles, that is my one take away so the Jet is a 99/100 👍🏾👍🏾
the only weakpoint is the plastic landing gear parts. i put a heat tip to the plastic welded it back togeather. i will be ordering a new set of mains.
This FMS F-16 is an all around winner on so many levels. I'm a huge F-16 fan and have flown every size up 105mm versions. The 70mm version was always my favorite until now; this smaller version does everything the larger one can and more! Easy to fly, a high alpha pro, incredibly powerful fan, and unmatched maneuverability. Not to mention it oozes scale details everywhere, and yet is incredibly light. I followed TwoBrothers RC setup with SMC High voltage battery which has provided me nothing but pure fun on every flight. Even if you fly bigger planes, this is a small one to keep in the hangar. Fantastic job FMS!
After flying a FW 70mm (and loosing her) I started flying this one. It has unbelievable power. 12 blades instead the 11 blades on the Futura. With a light 180g 4S 2200 all way to the nose she flies 3 minutes spectacular. Great high alphas, great light in the dusk, great appearance. Just landing high alpha with landing gear on grass makes my nose fall off almost every time and brake sometimes. I´ll try if the landing gear works at least for landing. But without she looks nicer I think :)
I've owned many F-16s over the past 15 years but this one is my favorite. It is very fast and agile, and flies like it is on rails. I fly on a grass field and so I don't use the landing gears. I would recommend not using the landing gears. The speed and performance significantly increases without them. It is very easy to hand launch and land. I have a few videos I have published on YouTube regarding the speed test and mods for making it a belly lander and using heavier batteries. My channel is rkivids.
