Innovative Design, 80MM Rafale RC EDF Jet
FMS 80mm Rafale features an attractive trim scheme, excellent scale details and fully functional canards- allowing the aircraft to be truly unique when compared to other 80mm EDF aircraft. Details such as the pilot, cockpit interior, panels, removable armaments, auxiliary fuel tanks, refueling probe, targeting sensor etc; dynamic features such as functional LED navigation and landing lights, CNC shock-absorbing electric retracts, functional canards and flaps etc.
Utilising screws, latches and quick connectors, experienced builders can complete the build process in as little as 5 minutes.
Functions such as delta-mixing, sequential landing gear bay doors, alternating flash navigation lights, nose gear landing lights, slowed flaps etc are all controlled by a central control board. An 80mm 12 bladed EDF with a platinum edition 3280 inrunner motor and 100A high performance ESC easily accomplishes fighter jets maneuvers with realistic sound and speed.

Easily assembled but no info on where the elevator should be set at for the 1st flight.
I got this during the end of year sale, and I have to say I'm impressed with how easily it went together and the overall quality of the foam molding and decals. Shipping was also very quick (and free!). Weather has not allowed a maiden yet, but I'm really looking forward to seeing if it flys just as well as most reviews say. This Rafale is my first 80mm delta wing EDF.
One of the best flying edf jets I own. I operate off a pretty rough grass runway and it does great. using spektrum as3x+ stabilization receiver I can (AOA) high angle of attack this thing in at walking speed and only roll about 20feet! Easy to fly and easy to put together.
This is a Delta wing jet and as such flies and lands great. Don't forget to buy the "EXHAUST NOZZLES" ($6.00) extra. They can provide extra power which this plane needs. Also, this plane has small wheels and makes grass field operations difficult to get speed for take-off unless grass is really short.
I've had this for a couple of weeks waiting g for a good day to maiden.
The build was very quick with minimal screws, and quick connects on the wings. The set up, was pretty straight forward since I used only ailerons on the wings and not ailerons and flaps, or anynother combinations as to flying surfaces.
I've flown many different FMS EDF's, but never a delta wing, so this was my first attempt at this type of edf.
The CG was perfect with my LiperiAir 6s 5000 1/4 inch behind the leading edge of the ply battery tray.
It flew very well as does all FMS aircraft, the only thing lacking is it's efficiency. I got around 2 minutes flight and at the end my 5000 had 37% left, around storage charge. But I flew it mostly full.
I have the 3D printed nozzles coming, so I will be comparing speed and efficiency after I install that.
