These are awesome for fcx 24 and 18 models
Beware that if you're going to upgrade a blazer, unimog, or powerwagon to this brushless kit, not only do you need the new transmitter / receiver, but also new servos and a new light connection because the connections are a different size. You also will need the servo tray from the k5 pro. And be aware that on your powerwagon (maybe unimog too) the receiver location may interfere with your body.
So while the motor is indeed awesome, I know because I have the k5 pro and it's amazing, upgrading an existing crawler with the brushless kit is a pretty expensive endeavor, and you might as well just buy a k5 pro for all you'll spend.

Got 2 and the receiver for a little over a hundred and put them in my k5 blazers. Makes the stock ones crawl better. But my 3rd one has a mofo big block brushed it's faster ( but does not crawl good, more of a trail truck)than the brushless setups but they crawl better.
That has been the BEST mod for the FCX24 range to date. Amazing control and power delivery, as you would expect from any FMS brushless motor. Allowing the use of a new receiver also brings advantages. I now have better light control, 4WS, 2spd functionality back etc.
