Scale detailing and upgraded electronics are impeccably integrated: the FMS 1100mm P-51 racer features a realistic four-bladed propeller, forward tilting landing gear, functional flaps, scale cockpit, engine exhausts, air intake, wing fences and antenna.
Built with robust EPO material and painted with environmentally friendly water-based paint, the P-51 racer looks gorgeous at any speed and altitude. Reach speeds in excess of 90 mph thanks to the highly efficient four-bladed prop, 900kV motor, 80A ESC and 14.8V 2,600 mAh battery.

Amazing piece of engineering. Very capable but somewhat fragile so not really for beginners. Really moves out on a 4s 4000 LiHV pack turning an APC 11-12E.
this is an amazing piece of foam. Assembly was easy and fast.paint was awesome and looks even better with a clear coat. Flies stable and fast. Not too bad to land either. Will definitely get another if I have any misfortunes with this one.
I had a Miss A mustang that I lost in a mid-air. I liked the original so much that I bought another one just like the original.
The plane is easy to assemble and flys great! I run it with a 3300mah 4s and I'm very happy with it.
Very nice plane and excellent quality. Love the paint scheme.i wish it was available with the reflex V3. Had to order that separate, but no big deal. I have 7-8 FMS planes and never once have I had a shipping issue or a manufacturing issue. I have to say each model has been absolutely perfect and exactly how they are advertised.
This is my third plane from FMS. The packing was excellent and the plane arrived undamaged.
Assembly was very straightforward with the only glue needed was on the small wing stall strips.
I have seen the actual Reno Racer Dago Red fly and the model is pretty true to the real plane. The appearance is nice and the bright red paint should make it quite visible in the air.
What could be improved? The landing gear! the tires are rock hard and there is no shock absorber in the gear strut itself. I would gladly pay more for an upgraded gear set if it were offered. The gear as is limits the areas you can operate from.
The other quibble is the battery mounting. This plane desperately needs a battery tray. The stock battery mounting area is so hard to reach it's almost impossible to reach the forward battery restraining strap.
Improve these two items and you really have a winner.
All in all with the sale price of $229.95 for the features you get it's hard to beat.
