FMS 980mm (38.6") P-40B Flying Tiger Aircraft PNP

Not too big and not too small!!!

Please note that you do have to install up all your servo arms this was a first for me, but wasn't too difficult. To be perfectly honest I've assembled the plane and it's a beautiful wall hanger for the time being. I intend on getting a little better with some very likely crashes on my trainer planes prior to putting the electronics in this model and getting it up in the air! Perhaps I'll do a follow-up review after I've got some more flight time under my belt.

Flys great on 3S and pretty fast as well. Definitely not a beginner plane but for someone that flys a lot with plenty of warbird hours it’s an exceptional flying plane, flys on rails, slows down quite at bit with full flaps to land. Heavy with a lot of wing load but it flys light and takes a lot to drop a wing

P factor is quite a bit taking off and needs almost a full rudder once the tail lifts

I have a thing for warbirds and this is one I've wanted for a while. I feel like a few upgrades could be made especially on the landing gear. P factor is high so make sure you're ready for that. With the batter this plane is kinda heavy for its size. This plane would make a good 2nd or 3rd tail dragger. Make sure your CG is on point too.

This plane is just plain cool. The detail on it for the price is amazing. The retracts are neat as hell. The flaps really help to get it in the air quickly on a very short grass field and slow it down for a safe no part break landing even if it does nose in grass. Talk about neat when it flies past past. The Reflex system makes it a breeze to fly. If I had one complaint it's the 6 channel receiver part about the plane. Sure you 'can' fly it on a 6 channel however if you wish to take full advantage of the Reflex system you need 7. One channel for Reflex system. You really should buy this if you like warbirds it's just that freaking fun!
